Kemper Huber, Interim Pastor
Pastor Kemper Huber comes to First Presbyterian Church with experience as an interim pastor having served several churches in that capacity. He is a graduate of Austin, TX Presbyterian Theological Seminary with a Masters Degree in Divinity. Prior to entering the ministry, he worked for 25 years in agriculture and real estate.
Pastor Kemper served on the Wyoming Presbytery Camp Committee, coordinated and ran the Senior High Summer Camp at Camp Story Wyoming, has served as Sunday school teacher, Steven Minister and on a Mission Partnership Team while in seminary. Pastor Kemper also was the head of staff at the English-speaking United Community Church of Buenos Aires.
Sharon got her start in ministry right here as a seminary intern in 1987, and has maintained ties to First Pres. ever since. Since her early days here she has worked as a hospital chaplain, and served in interim pastors positions for several churches. Most recently she was the pastor of a congregation in Johnson City. In her free time Sharon enjoys travel, walking, reading and cooking. She and her husband, Jim, have two college-age kids, Beth and Drew.
