The cost is $15.00 per set. Please call the church office at 245-0104 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to order your commemorative keepsake.
First Presbyterian Church Centennial Book
The long awaited Centennial Book, “The First Century“, has arrived! The 276 page book is full of hundreds of pictures and is a fun and interesting read for anyone with an interest in our church – it celebrates our centennial with stories about our church, our city, and our nation. “The First Century” provides an opportunity for both current and past church members and staff to recall memories, learn about the early days of our church, and catch-up on recent activities. Photos range from the early charter members to the most recent Bible School, staff, Session and Diaconate. There are chapters on Missions, Women of the Church, Youth, each minister era, and much more….. You will want it for yourself; and possibly a family member or friend. YOU are a part of this history. We are pleased to make it available for purchase by mail with payment enclosed – see form.
Both the book and ornament are available for pick-up from the church office or at many church activities. Both would make great Christmas gifts!
Centennial Commemorative Christmas Ornaments
The Centennial Celebration Committee is pleased to offer a beautiful silver Christmas ornament depicting First Presbyterian Church, displayed in a presentation box along with a brief church history. This ornament may also be purchased by mail with payment enclosed – see form.
Centennial Cookbook Amen! Let’s Eat!
Amen! Let’s Eat! is a hardback collection of recipes by the church family of FPC Kingsport published to honor our 2017 Centennial. It begins with a brief history and timeline of FPC. The next section is a collection of recipes which were passed down by those who have gone before us–but their recipes are favorites and are still being used. Also included are sections on Beverages, Appetizers, Main Entrees and everything in between that make up a great cookbook. Sectional dividers are colorful drawings and pencil drawings submitted by the children of our church family. We are pleased to make it available for purchase by mail with payment enclosed – see form.
