Second Harvest Food Bank will be ramping up in preparation for “Food for Kids” back to school program in August. First Presbyterian Church volunteers will assemble there on August 21 to put packaged food items into bags and boxes for delivery to Kingsport Elementary Schools’ children in need. This is typically a busy time of year at the Food Bank, and our contributions of time and talents are always greatly appreciated. If you would like to participate in this important community service project, please give me a call or text at 423-782-6280.
