Oasis of Kingsport 11th  Annual Anniversary Fundraiser is proudlysponsored this year by First Presbyterian Church of Kingsport. “Moving on Up” Will be held Friday, June 13th @ 6pm, at Celebration Church in Blountville, with formal catered dining, Silent Auction, and music by local known artist: “Lightnin’ Charlie”.  Tickets of $50 each can be purchased through “Eventbrite”, Oasis of Kingsport, 423-392-1137, www.oasiskpt.org, or contact Martha Pendley, 423-429-1340, marthapendley@hotmail.com. 40th AnniversaryHolston Habitat for Humanity-Faith Build Former FPC member Elizabeth Ann Hay co-founded the Holston Habitat for Humanity affiliate serving the Tri-Cities and beyond.  A Faith build, three-bedroom home for three generations, Matt, his daughter and granddaughter, will take place this year in February through May at 1601 E. Volunteers and staff at Second Harvest Food Bank are hustling to keep up with demand for “Food for Kids” back to school program that launched in August. First Presbyterian Church volunteers will meet there on September 18, to put packaged food items into bags and boxes for delivery to Kingsport Elementary School children in need.
