FPC Donates to the Salvation Army of Kingsport
Ladies and Gentlemen, We meant to share this with the board at yesterday’s meeting but in all of the excitement and discussion we forgot. Back in June First Presbyterian Church donated $10,000 to our Pathway of Hope initiative which engages families with children to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. “Should This Sermon Make Us Happy” Summer 2021
Beginning the week of June 7, 2021, Dr. Shelton will be doing a study of Jesus’ famous “Sermon on the Mount”, as recorded in Matthew. He invites you to read Matthew 5-7 in preparation for the class and to do some personal reflection on the material. The Sermon on the Mount may be one of Jesus’ best-known but challenging teachings.
