Fellowship Bible Class New Study
The Fellowship Bible Sunday School class is starting a new study January 29 of the Book of Jonah by Dr. Sandra Richter, which will last seven weeks. When we think of the story of Jonah, we typically think of a children’s story, a fable, a legend, a parable, or an allegory. But this minor prophet’s story is more complex and challenges us, as God’s people, to be “more than we think we can be—to stretch further, push harder, so that as God’s people we can be more like Him and less like the world we find ourselves living in today”! We meet at 9:45 in Room 102, discuss our prayer concerns, view a video, and conclude with discussion and prayer. Please join us; you’re always welcome!
Annual Congregational Meeting
Our Annual Congregational Meeting will be held in the sanctuary at the end of the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday, January 29. The purpose of the meeting will be to hear a report on the budget, a report from Session, a report from the pastor, and to approve the changes in terms of call for our pastor.
