Rebecca is in 2nd grade and for the last 2 years has received a scholarship from First Pres to attend La Patria Norte, a private Presbyterian school in Coban, Guatemala, which several of our mission teams have had the blessing to visit. She is extremely bright and at the top of her class in grades. She is also a very talented musician and has been playing piano since she was 3. Her family was able to purchase the keyboard she is playing through generous gifts of members of our congregation earlier this year. She also receives a music scholarship and her father takes her to Guatemala City every Saturday for lessons despite the fact that the journey is several hours of bumpy road each way. She is a fantastic kid and we are lucky that God has allowed us to be part of her life!
