Let’s help build the Holston Habitat House!
First Presbyterian Church volunteers, please join Ashleigh, Maloakai, Z’mya and Emberlee in building a Holston Habitat House on October 14,15,16,17. FPC volunteers will install insulation and siding at 116 Virgil Street from 8:30 to 3:00. No experience is necessary. Your help is needed and will be greatly appreciated. As previously communicated, our church members have the opportunity to partner with other Kingsport churches and with Ashleigh to help build a home for Ashleigh and her three children. Our church has volunteer responsibility October 14-17. As of Friday, September 25, plenty of spots are still available. A number of effective measures are in place to create a safe work environment. Given below are instructions for signing up to work on this Habitat Faith Build project:
- Go to https://donate.holstonhabitat.org/campaigns/16072-ashleigh-s-build.
- Click the Volunteer button.
- Scroll down to Week 3 (reserved for First Presbyterian) … and use Password firstpres.
- Select the specific day(s) that you would like to volunteer.
- You will then be directed to a waiver that explains the safety protocol and that must be completed prior to working on site.
No previous experience is necessary. Your help is needed and appreciate.
