Dear Friends in Christ,
As if you needed the reminder, the Delta Variant has made it clear that we are not yet finished dealing with Covid. Many organizations, from business to schools to churches, are again scrambling to figure out what is the safest and best way to adjust their plans in the short-term. We will discuss the matter at the August 22nd Session meeting, but we do strongly encourage all our members to wear masks and practice social distancing, not only on Sundays at Church, but throughout the week. We are not canceling any Church programs, but we’d like everyone at FPC to commit to the same protocols we practiced last year. If we all stay safe, and keep each other safe, maybe this round of the virus will not be as lengthy or as deadly as the previous one.
