Donations for Letcher County Kentucky Flood Victims – August 8, 2022 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Donation of items will be accepted on August 8 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Center of First Presbyterian Church of Kingsport at Church Circle. Please park in the parking lot located across from 114 W. Charlemont Avenue and enter the building marked Fellowship Center. FPC Donation to Grace House of Kingsport Homeless Ministries

Bobby Flowers, President of Kingsport Homeless Ministries, receives from FPC Outreach member Emily Pridemore a check for $17,000 for Grace House.  This facility on Sullivan Street will house homeless men and women overnight, provide a day center and also access to addiction and mental health counseling.  These funds will aid in the operation of Grace House.  As interior renovation takes place, there will be future opportunities for FPC members to clean ceiling tiles, replace carpet with new flooring and paint.…

New Bible Study Starting February 9, 2022 “The Apostles Creed”

You are invited to a new Wednesday Night Class, starting on February 9, where Dr. Shelton will lead a discussion of the “Apostles Creed,” based on author Adam Hamilton’s book, “Creed: What Christians Believe.” You can attend either in person or watch online. Returning to Normal

With Sullivan County Covid numbers continuing to drop, the Session has approved lifting the protocols we adopted last year. You may continue to wear a mask if you choose, but it is no longer recommended that all of us wear one. We will resume normal worship practices like Passing the Peace where you may greet those around you, and we will start receiving Communion by Intinction on Maundy Thursday.
