Greetings from Niger!
We want to thank you for your gift to our sending and support this year, which has been helping us continue to bridge cultures between the US and Niger to learn from each other. We firmly believe that to make a difference in a community, you have to connect with and make a difference in individual lives. Recently Michael was meeting with David, one of his younger colleagues whom he works with closely on some of the aspects of the CHE initiative. Michael shared with him that we were ending our time in Niger this year. Surprisingly, he said he had a dream that this happened, but that it turned out okay! He showed a lot of maturity in thanking us for being willing to serve the Lord and give of ourselves in our relationship with the church. He was so grateful for things he learned through our work together and things that he would never have thought of if we hadn’t been sharing across cultures. David is a bright spot in the church’s future leadership, and so we pray the difference we’ve made in his life and the difference he has made in our lives will continue to multiply its impact in the church in the years to come. This is possible because of your giving.
We are a bit embarrassed that there have been some glitches in the central office and it took so long to get a thank-you to you, but know that your gift is an important part of this ministry!
