“Thanksgiving Project” is underway at Second Harvest Food Bank and First Presbyterian Church volunteers were there to help! Over 10,000 food boxes will be packed and delivered to qualified Northeast Tennessee families for a complete Thanksgiving meal. Along with the boxes, each recipient will receive a bag of fresh produce and a frozen turkey or chicken. It was another fun and gratifying day for sixteen FPC volunteers on October 26, as we did our part in preparing hundreds of those 10,000 boxes.
