Beginning Wednesday August 12th, Russ will post a weekly video study using the book “The Gospel According to the Peanuts” by Robert L. Short. You don’t have to read the book for the studies, but it is a good read if you want to get deeper. The book will be more of a jumping off point rather than a chapter by chapter review.
I grew up listening to Peanuts references during worship every week from my pastor Bundy Bynum. They kept my attention as a wiggly child and as a bored teenager. These simple cartoons are packed with theology and can help us find a deeper faith in the ordinary. We will discuss a cartoon strip or two each week and see where we go! Come join me on Facebook or YouTube as we continue to reach out in new and creative ways. This are geared towards all ages and I hope all can find something meaningful in these upcoming videos.
